Sweet Scarlett,
Happy 5 months, my beautiful girl! These past 5 months have been amazing. I’ve loved every minute with you, even the screaming crying moments of teething pain.
My love, you’ve really flourished this past month. You’ve started rolling from your tummy to your back and can almost roll from your back to your tummy. And [...]

When the girls were a few weeks old, they started holding hands.  They’d often hold hand when I would tandem feed them, and it was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.  And I’m a sucker for it.
Every single time they hold hands, I gasp and go on and on about how cute it is.  As [...]

Today, the girls finally rolled over. Within minutes of each other.
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a horrible mom when it comes to tummy time.  None of my kids seem to really like it and just end up crying.  Des would cry and cry, and then just fall asleep.  The girls would usually [...]

Sweet Scarlett,
It’s been 4 months since your birth.  It feels so strange to realize that it’s only been 4 months.  It feels like you and Isla have been here forever – like our lives before you guys were so long ago.
My sweet girl, you never cease to amaze me.  Your dad and I continue to [...]

When I found out I was pregnant with twins, I became obsessed with figuring out how I could breastfeed them – preferably at the same time.  Every single person I met who had twins, knew twins, or just liked talking about twins was put through a massive amount of questions about breastfeeding twins.  And almost [...]

About this blog

My name is Mallory. I’m a socially awkward person and really stink at making small talk. It’s something I’m working on, but if we ever meet in person, I apologize in advance for all the uncomfortable silences. I love dirty jokes – the dirtier the better. So, when we meet and I’m being awkward, tell me a dirty joke and I’ll get more comfortable.

I’m married to Ricky. He’s a firefighter/paramedic. We’ve known each other since I was 12 and have been a couple since I was 16. He’s really silly and I love that about him. He makes me happy. I really like him.

We had a baby in 2009. His name is Desmond and we love him. He’s amazing and we basically think he’s one of the greatest kids in the world.

In 2011, we had identical twin girls, Scarlett and Isla. We also think they are amazing and they are the two other greatest kids in the world.

This blog is meant to be a chronicle of our life together.
